2019年畢業於國立臺灣藝術大學多媒體動畫藝術學系新媒體藝術碩士學位
她的創作主題多關注在人面對環境與生命的關係，以及時間性的細微變化。
她擅長透過環境的調研、複合媒體的現成物，來形成空間的重塑，結合影像轉化成另一種呈現觀看世界的敘事方式，作為創作思考延伸，進而反映出個人內在情感與潛藏的意識流動。
曾獲選文化部選送文化相關人才出國駐村交流計畫補助（德國貝塔寧藝術村）、蕭壠國際藝術村駐村計畫，豐富的個展和聯展經驗。歷年曾獲得《全國美術展-新媒體藝術類，銀牌獎》、《ART FUTURE PRIZE 亞洲新星獎-首獎》…各地方美展等，作品並受藏於有章藝術博物館。
Chen Chia Yi graduated from the National Taiwan University of the Arts with a Master in New Media Arts from the National Tawian University of Arts,
The main theme of her works focuses on the relationship between the environment and life, as well as the subtle changes in time. She specializes in reshaping space by investigating the environment and combining media readymades, combining images into another narrative way of presenting the world, as an extension of creative thinking, and then reflecting one's inner emotions and latent flow of consciousness. She has participated in the Soulangh Cultural Park Artist Residency ,and has a wealth of experience in solo and group exhibitions.
She will be at Künstlerhaus Bethanien Residency in Berlin, Germany in 2024 Over the years, she has received awards and recognition from various national art exhibitions, including the "National Art Exhibition - Silver Medal in New Media Art", "ART FUTURE PRIZE Asian New Star Award - First Prize”. Her artworks are also held in the collection of the Taiwan Museum of Art.
